Rush Scooter Open 2 Results

Park:

Judging Criteria:

Park Comp Format:

Open Comp (Open to all)

Length of run: Two 1 min  45 second runs.

These runs will be scored by the judges based on 'Number of Tricks Landed', 'Difficulty/Amplitude' and 'Flow/Park Use'. Points will be deducted from 'Number of Tricks Landed' for each bail based on severity, eg. Foot down on trick = -1 point, fall on trick attempt, -2 points.

Each judge will score each category out of 100. These will then be added together and then averaged for your final run score. The best score out of the 2 runs will count.

JUDGING (Park Comp):
There will be 3 judges and they will score you in the following areas.

1- NUMBER OF TRICKS LANDED. For this category you will receive 1 point for each trick that you land. There is a total of 10 points available in this category. Eg. If you throw 12 tricks in your run but only land 9, you will receive 9 points. (This will be multiplied by 10 for Open and Intermediates).

2- DIFFICULTY / AMPLITUDE. For this category you will receive a score out of 10 (Under 10s) or 100 (Inter / PRO (Open)). It will be based on the overall difficulty of your tricks as well as the amplitude of your tricks. Eg. A flair whip will receive a higher score than a tail whip as it is more DIFFICULT. A buttercup 3 feet above coping will receive a higher score than a buttercup under coping as it has more AMPLITUDE.

3- FLOW / PARK USE. For this category you will receive a score out of 10 (10 and unders) or 100 (Inter / PRO (Open)). It will be based on the flow of your run as well as your use of the park. Eg. A run full of flyout tricks will receive fewer points than a run that is based on a single line that is linked together, as it has better FLOW. A rider that sticks to one area of the park will receive fewer points than a rider that uses multiple areas of the park as they had better PARK USE.
